At Kretz Consulting Group, Search Intelligence combines evidence about demand, search performance, the website, and customer actions to guide investment and implementation. We start with the decision your team needs to make and the locations affected. We use the findings to recommend work your team can authorize and explain what would support continuing the investment.
Start with a decision the evidence can help resolve.
A report can show a change without explaining the right response. We identify the decision, then assess which records and comparisons can answer it.
What changed for the customer?
Examine how people find the relevant locations and what happens when they visit the site. A decline in traffic, a fall in bookings, and a reporting break require different responses, so we establish which change is supported by the records.
Which locations or systems need attention?
Compare the markets and locations in scope to distinguish shared website conditions from competition, local information, and operating differences. This helps determine whether corporate should commission a broad change or investigate a smaller group.
What is worth funding?
Assess the likely business value, confidence, effort, and dependencies behind each recommendation. Where revenue scenarios are useful and supported by client data, we show assumptions and missing inputs.
What would show that it helped?
Agree the customer actions, comparison, and timing needed to evaluate the work, after checking whether the measurement can answer the question. Observed improvement and proof that one intervention caused it remain different conclusions.
Agree who will implement the recommendations.
Kretz's three offers serve different purposes, with scope and responsibilities agreed before work begins.
Search Intelligence Diagnostic
The fixed-fee first engagement defines the problem, tests the evidence, and recommends priorities, and your team keeps the findings and implementation requirements. The fee and schedule depend on the agreed locations, systems, access, and decisions.
Search Engineering
Kretz specifies and implements the approved changes, or works with your engineers through testing and acceptance. The build has its own scope, and your team retains the business priorities and release authority established in the engagement.
Decision Analytics
We examine what changed after implementation and whether the measurement supports the conclusion. The results can inform a further investment, a revised approach, or a decision to stop, with any continuing work agreed around the next useful business decision.

Questions about the method.
Is Search Intelligence a separate software product?
Search Intelligence describes Kretz's consulting method for investigation, engineering, and measurement under an agreed scope. A software purchase is not required to begin.
Do we need reliable data before we start?
The diagnostic can establish which records are usable and which need repair. If missing information prevents a conclusion, we identify the gap and its consequence. The implementation plan can include a separately scoped measurement correction.
Does every engagement need all three offers?
No. The initial diagnostic should clarify what further work is justified. Your team can act on the findings, commission a defined implementation, or agree ongoing analysis when a recurring business decision requires it.
What does our team need to commit?
A sponsor who owns the decision, access to the relevant records, and participation from the people responsible for approvals or implementation. Those requirements are specified in the proposal, alongside the work Kretz owns.
